The Conbraco Model 4S Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer is designed to control cross-connections between potable water lines and substances that are objectionable, but not a health hazard. It is an economical device that is easily repaired in the line. The device consists of two independently acting, spring-loaded swing type check valves in a corrosion resistant ductile iron body. The unit is available with inlet and outlet shutoff valves. Four test cocks, three on the check valve body and one on the inlet shutoff valve, complete the assembly.
