Ames 4000CIV/5000CIV |
Series 4000CIV Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies are designed to provide cross-connection control protection of the potable water supply in accordance with national plumbing codes. This series can be utilized in a variety of installations, including health hazard cross-connections in plumbing systems or for containment at the service line entrance. With its exclusive patented relief valve design incorporating the "air-in/water-out" principle, it provides substantially improved relief valve discharge performance during the emergency conditions of combined backsiphonage and backpressure with both checks fouled. Maximum Working Pressure: 175psi (12.06 bar).
Size Range: 2 1/2 to 10 in. (65 to 250mm) Series 5000CIV Reduced Pressure Detector Assemblies prevent the reverse flow of fire protection system substances from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply. The 5000CIV incorporates a meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, greatly reducing annua |

Ames 4000SS/5000SS |
Series 4000SS Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It consists of a stainless steel body construction with stainless steel internal parts. The bottom-mounted relief valve is located between the two check valves, making it suitable for installations against an outside wall. Series 4000SS/5000SS has a compact design with a short lay length, ideal for retrofit installations. The 4000SS/5000SS is designed for health hazard applications. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements. Maximum Working Pressure: 175psi (12.06 bar).

Ames C500/C500N/C500z |
Series C500, C500N, C500Z Reduced Pressure Detector Assemblies prevent the reverse flow of fire protection system substances from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply. The C500 incorporates a meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, greatly reducing annual water expenses. It consists of a compact, stainless steel body with stainless steel internal parts, two check valves, a pressure-differential relief valve, shutoff valves, torsion spring checks and relief valve, and bronze, nickel-plated test cocks. Series C500, C500N, C500Z is 70% lighter than traditional designs and is ideal for health hazard cross-connections, such as on fire sprinkler systems. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements. Maximum Working Pressure: 175psi (12.06 bar). Size Range: 2 1/2 to 10 in. (65 to 250mm) | |
