RPZ 2 1/2-10
Model Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies gives maximum protection against backflow of pollutants or contaminated water into the potable water system due to backsiphonage or backpressure. It consists of an epoxy coated ductile iron body and single access cover (2 ½” – 10”) with stainless steel trim, unleaded bronze shut off valves and test cocks. It features two mechanically independent, spring loaded, center guided stem check valves with replaceable check seats with a hydraulically dependent differential pressure relief valve with the sensing passage in the body. The check valves are constructed with Noryl™ seats and discs (2 ½” & 3”) or unleaded bronze materials (4”-10”). Larger than 4” and larger features a captured spring design. Model RPZ are designed for cross-connections identified as a health hazard application by the local authority having jurisdiction. Local codes shall govern installations requirements.
RPZE 3/4-2
